Moving your mailbox to Google

Your email is moving from Yandex to Google Workspace. To copy your old emails, we need a Yandex app password.

   Turn on IMAP in Yandex Mail
   Open Mail settings → Email clients. Tick From the imap.yandex.com server via IMAP and choose App passwords and OAuth tokens. Save.

   Create an app password
   Open Yandex ID → Security → App passwords, choose Mail, name it Google migration and create it.

   Copy the 16-letter password
   It looks like abcd efgh ijkl mnop. Yandex shows it only once, so paste it here right away.

   Submit the form
   We log in to Yandex with it on the spot. That confirms the password is right and IMAP is on. You also see if we already have one for you.
